Spring Billiar
Information Technology Systems & Services
Spring shows dedicated and excellence as Senior Data Entry Coordinator for
UMD's Information Technology Systems and Services. She is responsible for data
entry, processing student evaluations and test scoring. Just last semester alone,
Spring was faced with forty thousand evaluations and processed them efficiently
and accurately.
Spring is always willing to go the extra mile to help professors and students
with technology questions. She does so with a smile on her face and with a remarkable
sense of humor that makes her a pleasure to be around. If she has a full workload,
she gets it done as fast as possible to make time for extra projects.
Just recently, Spring developed a program that helps the department keep track
of students who receive laptops from the Laptop Pilot Project. Her innovation
has been a huge help to the organization and maintenance of such an expansive
project.
Spring's expertise and easgerness to help others make it a pleasure to present
her with this Continuous Service award.
