Library
Jim is known among students and faculty alike as a fabulous resource in UMD's
Library. As a Library Professional, he has a vast knowledge of the resources
available and conducts seminars to teach faculty and students how to effectively
use these resources. Jim takes time with each student individually to ensure
success in academics.
Jim's website is a wonderful tool with links to other information sources included
in its content of over forty seperate pages! This site has proven to be a valuable
tool for Labovitz School of Business and Economics students. Jim works closely
with visitors to his site to make sure that the information offered meets customer
needs.
Jim has been an extraordinary asset to UMD for almost twenty-five years now.
His hard work and expertise has played a huge role in the Library's success
as a web based research facility.
For his many contributions and service to others, I proudly present him with
this Continuous Service award.
