Outstanding Service Award

Linda Witzke
Linda makes excellence a minimum requirement for her daily work! She doesn’t
say "no." Instead she seeks ways that things can be done. She loves
her jobs and strives to give of her best because she believes in what she does
and wants to make a difference.
Linda's responsibilities have changed almost every year since she has been
employed in the Department. She cheerfully and capably took on each new assignment.
She listens to people's concerns as well as seeking out feedback so as to better
understand and respond to people's needs. She respects that people are developing
and learning, and that what works in helping one person (student, faculty, staff
and work study students) may not work for others. She helps resolve situations
based on an understanding of individual faculty and their strengths, needs.
Linda's excellent performance in all areas of her job is evident by her consistently
excellent annual performance reviews and by the comments and testimony of those
who work with her.
For all these reasons, I am proud to present Linda with this award.
