Project Award for Sports Health Center Addition
These four were members of the building committee responsible for design,
function, furnishing and equipment decisions made for the new Sports and
Health Center Addition, brought in ahead of schedule and under budget.
This space contributes to the health and wellness of our students, faculty
and staff. Opportunities for participation and student work experiences
have increased with the new space. It has also benefited student athletes
in a number of ways including; creation of space and additional equipment
to get more athletes through strength and conditioning work outs in a
shorter period of time, allowing athletes to dedicate more time toward
studies than was previously possible with the old facilities.
Along with the architects and construction crews, this group worked together
to create an outstanding facility that will be enjoyed for years to come.
Their efforts played a significant role in keeping costs down which, in
turn, enabled us to provide the new building with outstanding equipments.
They were committed to maximizing our students’ financial investment
as well as considering student needs during every step of the project.
This team went above expectations with their efforts on this construction.
