Continuous Service Award
Nancy Carl
If you've worked in the Office of Financial Aid and Registrar for 18
years like Nancy Carl has, you've seen some major changes. The numbers
alone tell a tale: Nancy now oversees over $43 million in student and
parent loan awards. This area is more important than ever to our students
and their parents. For them, Nancy's willing assistance is invaluable.
Nancy will do what it takes to assist students and parents, whether that
is time spent in explanation and answering questions, or effort spent
to contact external agencies on a student's behalf to resolve loan eligibility
issues. With firm loan origination deadlines, Nancy is noted for her own
timeliness and for making certain our students follow through on their
end, so that the loans can get processed.
Nancy also manages the return of funds process for financial aid –
a process with strict federal and state deadlines which she always meets.
She works with students who have dropped classes and need to repay funds
as well, guiding them through the complicated process.
For her expertise and dedication to our students and their families,
I am pleased to present this award to Nancy.
