Outstanding Service Award Recipients
Project Award: Team Project - Facilities Management Electronic Self Service Billing

The Facilities Management Electronic Self Service and Billing Project was a two-part project: self-service and electronic billing, to improve and streamline these processes, while at the same time eliminating paper billing.  The project aligned with two Strategic Plan values:  #5 (Sustainability) and #7 (“…excellence through creativity, continuous improvement and innovation.”). 

The project met all of its goals.  The self-service module provided customers with the capability to independently check on charges and the status of work requests electronically, making the information readily available when needed.  By sending electronic bills directly to pre-identified staff, rather than paper bills to departments, it is not only more efficient for the receiving department, but also requires less resources and labor costs to produce. 

Cindy, Linda, Joy, Karl and Wendy developed, planned and implemented the first part of the project, the self-service billing access.  Trish and Wendy, assisted by a student employee (Chloe Pitts) developed, planned and implemented the electronic billing part of the project. 

For all your work on providing better service in a sustainable fashion it is my pleasure to present you with this project award.
