Biweekly Payroll Timesheet
Biweekly Payroll Timesheets
Turning in your timesheet:
Complete your timesheet legibly in ink. It is necessary to indicate
the total hours actually worked each day. Students on work-study cannot
be paid for hours not actually worked. You can work up to 8 hours each
day and up to 40 hours per week. Resolve any discrepancies with your
supervisor before you sign the timesheet. Both you and your supervisor
must sign the timesheet. Once both have signed, you have agreed that
the timesheet is correct as submitted and it cannot be changed.
Picking up your paycheck:
If you work in an on-campus position, pick up your paycheck from your
department. Check with your supervisor for the location and time the
checks will be available.
If you work with America Reads/America Counts, pick up your check at
UMD Department of Human Resources and Equal Opportunity, 255 Darland Administration Building.
If a payday falls during a break, you may submit an affidavit form
to your supervisor or department giving them permission to mail your
check to you.
Reporting changes:
Students, please contact the Director of the Office of Student Employment
in the event of a problem, grievance, change of position, or termination
of a position.
In the event of a termination, give the employer two
weeks notice.
If you have questions, contact the Office of Student Employment,
Department of Human Resources and Equal Opportunity, 255 Darland Administration Building, or phone 218-726-7912.
