UMD National Student Employment Week 2003

We have received Proclamations declaring that a week in April is a National Student Employment Week from Minnesota Governor Tom Pawlenty; Duluth Mayor Gary Doty; and UMD Chancellor Kathryn Martin.

Since 1997, this is the second time that a UMD student won the nationwide "National Student Employee of the Year" award. In the 1998-1999 academic year, UMD Student Employee of the Year Justin Hallquist won State of Minnesota Employee of the Year, Regional Winner, and was named National Student Employee of the Year. Justin was recognized at the National Student Employment Association conference held in San Diego, California.
