--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Temporary Staffing is Also Available from an Off-Campus AgencyThe University of Minnesota has a contract with Adecco Employment Services for temporary staffing university-wide. For other temporary agencies, see the telephone directory. See current pay and bill rates for Adecco at: http://www1.umn.edu/ohr/toolkit/hiring/other/temporary.html Adecco Employment Agency is the preferred vendor for temporary staffing. However, departments are free to use any off-campus temporary service they would like. Be informed, however, that a non-Adecco Employment Agency employees are not trained with the UofM HIPAA and Security training. If your temporary employment is provided by Adecco Employment Agency, billing of University departments for services are handled through Adecco.
Temp employees hired through Adecco may be trained with the University of Minnesota HIPAA and Security training requirements. To verify if an Adecco temp employee has HIPAA training, contact Cathy Rackliffe, HIPAA Coordinator at UMD, cracklif@d.umn.edu or 218-726-6827. |
