"Take Time to be Active!"
University of Minnesota UPlan Wellness and University of Minnesota Duluth
Wellness encourages employees to be physically active. The "Take
Time to be Active" campaign runs from September 12th through November
30, 2005. Take Time aims to motivate you to spend 2,005 minutes involved
in moderate-intensity physical activity. This is approximately 30 minutes
in motion, most days of the week.
UMD Human Resources will give away undated Health Care-toons calendar
OR UMD Wellness Walkers tshirt OR "do" water bottle to participating
UMD faculty and staff employees. To receive a gift from UMD Wellness,
fill out the online form below by December 2nd, 2005 or may be filled
out as soon as you have acomplished the 2005 minutes goal.

University of Minnesota UPlan Wellness
Employees who successfully complete the Take Time program qualify to
receive a $10 gift certificate from University UPlan Wellness which is
redeemable at University Bookstores; for each family member who completes
the program, employees are eligible for a $5 certificate up to a total
reward per household of $25.
You can submit your log soon as you have attained the 2005 minutes (no
need to wait until November 30). Deadline for submission of the UPlan
Wellness log is December 1, 2005.
