Open every Wednesday from May 21 to September 24, 2008
2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. or until sellout
1120 Kirby Drive (in front of UMD Stores)
Music provided by Auxiliary Services & UMD Stores
UMD Wellness Program, Department of Human Resources, UMD Stores, and Auxiliary Services sponsor the Farmers Market at UMD/Market Day in the Plaza. The market brings fresh produce to the Duluth campus to promote a healthy workplace and a healthy lifestyle for employees and people from the surrounding neighborhoods.
Depending on availability, vendors from Lake Superior Sustainable Farming Association of Minnesota offer fresh fruits, vegetables, cut flowers, farm fresh pasture raised eggs, organic culinary herbs, bedding plants, hanging baskets, perennials, annuals, vegetable transplants, lotions, balms, cold relief teas and drops, tinctures, skin products (including itch/rash relief), tub tea bags, and more.
