Health Improvement Program (HIP)
The program is based on a three-pronged approach which encompasses balanced nutrition, result producing exercise and positive behaviors that will lead to healthy and active lifestyles. HIP Members will have access to weekly optional workshops which will include:
Weekly workshops will help people stay on track and be accountable for good nutrition and exercise habits through presentations on various health topics and fitness activities. Parenting, stress management, financial management, cooking demos and other topics are also offered. For a list of workshops, go to http://www.d.umn.edu/umdhr/Training/UMD faculty, staff and their family members are welcome to join at anytime in this program. Meeting is scheduled every Tuesday at 12:00 noon and lasts about 30-60 minutes.
