More About Healthy Habits & Walking

Only 32% of Americans get the necessary amount of physical activity recommended by the U.S. Surgeon General’s office. Sadly, the lack of regular exercise results in heart disease and obesity. The recommendation is to exercise 30 minutes per day, at least 3 times per week. This is easily achieved when one considers that walking is something most all of us do everyday and can be part of an increased physical activity plan.

Exercise is the best weapon to fight obesity and diabetes risk factors that lead to heart disease – America’s number one killer.
