UMD Tobacco Smoking Cessation Program (TSCP)
If you’re looking to quit, the UMD Tobacco/Smoking Cessation program is here to help. Our team of health professionals will assist you in creating a customized plan to become tobacco free. We will support you along the way with guidance from a qualified health educator (Health Coaching), prescriptions for tobacco cessation medications (QuickCare Clinic), and medication counseling from a qualified pharmacist (Medication Therapy Management Clinic.)

UMD TSCP is based on a three pronged approach with Employee Health & Wellness Center:

The program is FREE for UMD faculty, staff, and their families. Individual coaching sessions will include discussions that will build support, confidence, motivation, and the commitment to achieve a new healthy lifestyle.
As an option to UPlan members (employees and dependent spouse who are UPlan members), continuing the program for six months, will enable them to receive a 200 Wellness Points.
