The UMD Diversity Commission is pleased to announce the winner of its 2008 T-shirt message design contest. Ryan Holmquist, a senior criminology major from Alexandria, Minnesota, wins first prize of a $50 UMD Stores gift card.  Ryan’s design (see below) will be produced on T-shirts and will be available from the UMD Multicultural Center beginning Fall 2008.

Contest runners-up are Alli Jensen, Swenson College of Science & Engineering student; and Tamara Miskovic, student in the Master of Social Work Program.
