The Employee Health and Wellness Center (EHWC) offers a broad range of programs and resources to help you maintain good health. In addition to the Employee Wellness Program, services include the QuickCare Clinic, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and Health Coaching. QuickCare
Clinic

Open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m., during the academic year, the QuickCare Clinic offers convenient access to health services for UMD employees, spouses/same-sex domestic partners, and dependent children. Services include diagnosis and treatment of minor acute illnesses, immunizations, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol screening.
Cost is $5 copay for Acute Care for UPlan members with no copay for immunizations or cholesterol screening. Non-UPlan members pay full cost. Direct billing to UPlan provider insurance. No appointment needed except for cholesterol checks.

Medication Therapy Management (MTM)

MTM is available, at no cost, for UPlan members who take four or more covered medications or with a referral from their physician. MTM creates a partnership between you, your doctor, and a qualified pharmacist who work together to ensure that your medications are safe, effective, and convenient. Learn how you can qualify for a one time six-month prescription co-pay reduction through Prime Therapeutics.

Health
Coaching

The UPlan Health Coach helps motivate and encourage eligible UPlan members to establish a path toward better health. The Health Coach is available to provide unbiased, up-to-date information to assist with development of a personalized wellness plan to effectively change behavior. Receive $65 incentive reward upon completion of the health coaching program.

Clinics

There is NO CHARGE for UPlan members, spouses/same-sex domestic partners, and dependents (4 years old and over) who present an employee ID and insurance card. Charge for non-UPlan members is $22.50.
If you are unable to attend the flu clinics, you may receive your flu vaccine at QuickCare Clinic, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Call the clinic at 218-726-8666.
