Celebrate the Season at Glensheen

Glensheen’s holiday brunches offer a memorable experience. Presented every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday in December, plus Tuesday December 19, the event begins with an abbreviated tour of Glensheen, giving visitors an opportunity to experience the splendor of a Christmas at the turn of the last century.

The tour is followed by an elaborate holiday brunch, complete with a wassail toast. Much more than a meal, Glensheen’s holiday brunches have become a Duluth area cherished tradition.

Tours of Glensheen begin at 10:30 a.m. At
11:15 a.m. brunch is served in the Winter Garden. Price: $24.95 for adults, $13.95 for children, and free for those younger than 5. Call (218) 726-8910 or 1-888-454-GLEN

Glensheen is the historic Congdon mansion, Duluth's premier estate with over 7 acres directly on the shore of Lake Superior. Glensheen features a 39-room Jacobean-style mansion complete with custom designed original furnishings. The grounds include a carriage house with carriage collection, a gardener's cottage, and more. Completed in 1908, Glensheen is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
