UMD's Bike-To-School Fest: Sustainability in Action

Do you love your bike? Then take it to UMD’s second annual Bike-To-School Fest on Thursday, April 29, at the Kirby Bus Hub (outside of the Kirby Bus Hub Plaza) from 11 am-4 pm. This event is designed to encourage UMD students and staff to tread a bit more gently on the earth by biking to UMD.

The Bike-To-School Fest offers all the information you need for hours of happy cycling. Find out about local bike trails. Talk to Fit City Duluth about healthy ways to commute. Learn how to load your bike on to a DTA bus bike rack. Learn how to care for your bike. Register for prizes - including a secure, covered storage locker for your bike, right here on campus. Visit tables from local organizations and businesses. At 6:00 pm on Thursday, April 29 in the UMD Garden Room, cycling enthusiasts are invited to give feedback at the City of Duluth Bike Route Network Public Meeting.
