A group of UMD students, staff and faculty have organized a rally to support inclusion and diversity on the UMD campus. The event will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 from 12-1 pm at the James S. Malosky Stadium on the UMD campus.
Tory White is a student in the UMD Department of Social Work and a spokesperson for the event. "We encourage everyone on the UMD campus to come out during this time to spend an hour as a community in solidarity," she said. Members of the greater Duluth community and beyond are also invited to join. The rally will include speeches and musical performances.
