Getting to Campus

The majority of University for Seniors classes are held on the third floor of the UMD Kirby Plaza building in the University for Seniors Robert N. Brownlee Center. Building maps and directional signage are found throughout UMD campus buildings. An interactive map of the campus is available here

Several bus routes run to the UMD campus.  Route information is available on the Duluth Transit Authority’s website
Look for UMD under “Popular Destinations.” There is one bus stop on campus, Kirby Plaza. An elevator in the foyer leads directly to the University for Seniors Robert N. Brownlee Center.

University for Seniors offers members DTA/STRIDE passes for transportation to and from UMD, courtesy of the Robert N. Brownlee Fund.  Passes are distributed by the US Auxiliary Committee and are intended to be used for travel to and from US classes and activities during the fall, winter, and spring terms only.

Visit UMD Parking Services for campus parking information and maps.
