The University of Minnesota's Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) offers financial awards to full-time undergraduates for research, scholarly, or creative projects undertaken in partnership with a faculty member.
Deadlines:
Next due date is July 1, 2024 for fall 2024 projects.
Following due date is expected to be in early October for spring 2025 projects.

Extension - Extensions are given on a one-time basis for up to one semester only. Students may not extend grants beyond the last day of final exams in the semester of graduation.
