18th Annual Research and Artistic Showcase

Kirby Ballroom and Rafters noon - 4:00
All undergraduate students from any University of Minnesota campus are encouraged to participate; students do not need to have participated in a UROP project in order to present at the showcase. However, students who have received UROP funding are expected to participate. No abstract is needed.
Oral Presentation:
Students may give a 20-minute oral presentation, which begin at 12:20, with the last presentation beginning at 3:40. Students presenting power point presentations must use the computer in the assigned room and download their presentation between 8 - noon on the 18th.
Poster Presentation:
Students may create a poster displaying their project to be presented in the ballroom. Students are asked to attend their poster when not in class; no student is expected or required to miss class to attend the showcase. Poster participants will be assigned an easel space approximately 3 x 5 feet; easels will be available between 8 - noon on the 18th and all poster displays must be set up before noon; posters can be taken down at 4:00. The GIS lab prints professional posters appropriate for the showcase. They request at least 5 working days and charges approximately $43. The deadline to submit requests to the showcase is Friday March 22, 2013.
