National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)

 
 
 
 
Visit NSSE to learn more about the survey instrument, the five NSSE Benchmarks of Effective Educational Practice, and NSSE's commitment to data quality.

UMD participates in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) every two years.

In 2011, the Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE) was given in order to measure faculty perceptions of student engagement. Comparisons of FSSE & NSSE results are provided below.
