Access to the resources of the VDIL is available to faculty members of the University of Minnesota Duluth for themselves and their research groups who have established a research project at the specific laboratory. To establish a project, the faculty principal investigator completes the Access Request Form. Proposals should be sent to the VDIL coordinator, the principal investigator's Dean or Director, and the principal investigator's department head. When completing the request form electronically, email addresses for the dean or director and the department head will be requested. The completed form will be sent to them as well as the VDIL Coordinator automatically.
If submitting the form by paper, a copy should be sent to the VDIL Coordinator, the principal investigator's Dean or Director, and the principal investigator's department head.
