Free drop-in tutoring for all current WRIT 1120 students!
The Writing Workshop is staffed by graduate students who are also Writ 1120 instructors.
Location: The Writing Studies 1120 Writing Center is located in Library 142. For general directions to the library, consult the University of Minnesota Duluth Campus Map.

The writing workshop is a one-on-one tutoring center designed just for currently enrolled WRIT 1120 students where students are helped on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do I need to schedule my tutoring session?
No! Drop by the Writing workshop any time we are open (see schedule above). Students are helped on a first-come, first-served basis.

What should I bring with me when I visit the Writing Workshop?
Bring a printed copy of your assignment and your instructor's assignment sheet. We also encourage you to bring your textbooks so you can mark important passages.
How long does a tutoring session last in the Writing Workshop?
Depending on what you come in to get help with, the average tutoring session can take between ten and twenty mintues. When you visit the Writing Workshop, make sure you have at least ten minutes to devote to your tutoring session.
