It is so rewarding to be
part of this outstanding de-
partment, to work with
these people and these stu-
dents.
We are also proud of our
graduating seniors, profiled
below. They are an amazing
group of young women, and
its a real honor to be part
of their lives. I have learned
so much from them, and I
know they will do good
work in the world. They
already do. We wish them
well in the next part of their
journeys.

THE MARCH FOR

image is all the wonderful
young women with red hair and
piercings in places that still
amaze me, with T-shirts read-

reveling in the fact that the
young women organizers have
majors in Womens Studies. I
remember the recent articles that
show that the best predictor of
owning a feminist identity for a
woman under 30 is a college
class about women. What we do
really matters in our class-
