Mom's Chocolate Date Balls

2 C. powdered sugar
¼ C. soft butter
1½ C. crunchy peanut butter
2 C. chopped dates
1 C. pecan nuts
½ cake paraffin (4 cakes in 1lb.)
1 pkg (12 oz.) butterscotch chips
1 pkg (6 oz.) chocolate chips

Mix together first 5 ingredients, roll into small balls and chill. Melt together last 3 ingredients over very low heat. Remove from heat and drop balls into it one at a time – coating well. Handle with toothpick or fork and drain on wax paper. Chill. Yield: 2½ dozen.
