Spicy Ham Balls

1 1/2 pounds smoked ham, ground
1 cup bread crumbs
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 cup milk
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar

Combine ham, crumbs, egg and milk; mix thoroughly. Shape into balls, using approximately 1 tablespoon mixture for each ball. Place in a 11 3/4"-by- 7 1/2" dish. Combine remaining ingredients and stir until sugar dissolves. Pour over ham balls. Bake 1 hour at 350° basting every 15 minutes.
