Cranberry Nut Bread

2 cups sifted flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons orange rind, grated
1/3 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water
1 egg, well beaten
2 tablespoons oil
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup fresh cranberries, halved

Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Combine
orange rind and juice, water, egg and salad oil. Add all at once to dry ingredients. Stir just until thoroughly moistened. Stir in nuts and cranberries. Turn into well greased pan. Bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes.
