Sweet Rolls

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 package active dry yeast
1 cup milk, heated
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
3/4 cup raisins
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
powdered sugar icing

In a mixer bowl combine flour and yeast. Heat milk, sugar,
butter and salt until just warm. Stir constantly. Add eggs and beat at low speed for 30 seconds. Beat for 3 minutes at high speed. Stir in as much of 2 to 21/2 cups flour as you can with a spoon. On a floured surface knead in enough flour to make a moderately stiff dough that is smooth and elastic. 6 to 8 minutes if by hand. Roll 1/2 of dough into a 12"x 8" inch rectangle. Melt 3 tablespoons butter, spread over half the dough combine cinnamon and sugar and spread over half the dough. Measure 3/4 cup raisins, sprinkle half over dough. Roll up jellyroll style., beginning from longest side. Seal. Slice into 12 pieces. Place in
place in a 9 x 1/ 1/2 " baking pan. repeat with remaining
ingredients. Cover and let rise to nearly double about 30
minutes. Bake in 375° oven for 20 minutes. Cool slightly and drizzle with powdered sugar icing.
