Chicken A La Orange

2 tablespoons margarine
3 pounds chicken, cut up
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon ginger
3 carrots, large, scraped and cut into 2 1/2" x 1/4" strips
2/3 cup orange juice
1/3 cup orange marmalade
1 tablespoon lemon juice

In large skillet, brown chicken in margarine. Season with salt and pepper. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered, 25 to 35 minutes or until chicken and carrots are tender.
