Great Potatoes

32 ounces frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 10 3/4 ounce can condensed cream of chicken soup
ounce sour cream
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup margarine
1 medium onion, diced
teaspoon salt
3/4 pint bread crumbs
6 tablespoons melted margarine

Grease a 9 "x 13" pan. In a large bowl combine all of the above ingredients and spoon into the pan. Top with mixture of bread crumbs and 6 tablespoons of melted margarine or butter. Bake uncovered at 350° for 45 minutes.
