Italian Dressing

Any number of seasonings, oil and vinegars can be used. can be used. Lemon juice and wine can also be used. The ratio of 4 to 1 oil to vinegar is preferred by us as a matter of taste. The 3 to 1 balancing of sugar to salt makes a difference as well.

1 cup oil
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Parmesan cheese, grated
dry mustard
paprika
garlic

Combine, cover, shake and chill. Adjust oil or vinegar to taste. Shake before serving.
