Pesto

2 cloves garlic
2 cups fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup fresh parsley, leaves
2 tablespoons pine nuts
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Using blender puree the garlic; add basil and parsley and chop finely. Add the pepper and cheese and process until well blended. Stop occasionally to scrape sides of blender. Taste and adjust the seasoning. Add the pine nuts and chop finely. Slowly pour in the olive oil with the blender running.
