Escoffier makes a good bottled variety if you can find it. Use with
Steak Diane, pheasant, duck, pork.
3/4 cup onions, chopped
1/4 cup butter
1 4 oz. can canned beef gravy
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/2 cup white wine
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
Brown onions in butter and stir in remaining ingredients.
