Chili

1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 6 oz. can tomato paste
1 10 3/4 ounce can tomato soup
1 10 3/4 ounce can condensed onion soup
1 cup red kidney beans, or 2 or 3 cans drained
2 to 4 cups water
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon sugar
3/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

Brown ground beef and drain. Saute onions briefly. Add all
ingredients to sauce-pot and cook uncovered for at least two hours over low heat.
