Hearty Italian Soup

1 pound mild Italian pork sausage
1 green bell pepper, medium chopped
1 onion, medium chopped
1 28 oz. can tomatoes, cut up
16 ounces water
2 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
3 cubes or 1 tablespoon of granulated beef flavored bouillon
3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
3/4 cup small shaped macaroni
shredded cheddar, American or Mozzarella cheese

In a Dutch oven or large saucepan, brown sausage, green pepper and onion; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except macaroni and cheese. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in macaroni; cover and simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Top individual serving bowls with cheese.
