In Memoriam...

"... and the light of Brotherhood shall burn throughout Eternity."

Anthony B. Fiskett

Tony Fiskett was a member of Alpha's first pledge class in 1959-60. He was its rush chairman in 1960-61. Tony received the Arrowhead award for leadership in 1959-60. A transfer to the Minneapolis campus made Tony one of Alpha's first alumni. Tony served as president of the Alumni Association from 1966-67. He will be particularly remembered for his mirthful sense of humor, which was especially endearing to pledges.

Tony died in his home community of Dresher, Pennsylvania of massive cardiac arrest. Tony was an editor with Harcourt, Brace Jovanovich Publications in Duluth, a director of corporate communications at Green Giant Company in Minneapolis, and an account executive at Lewis & Gilman in Philadelphia. He was the owner of his own public affairs management consulting firm, and was executive director of public affairs for Merck & Co., Inc. where he worked until his retirement in 1995.

He was a member of the board of directors of the World Rehabilitation Fund, and Mount Saint Joseph Academy Board of Advisors, a former officer of the Public Relations Society of America and of the National Investor Relations Institute, and a member of the Old Yourk Road Country Club in Spring House, Pa.; and the Upper Dublin Republican Club.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine; a son, Daniel of Philadelphia; and daughters Ellen and Elizabeth.
