Dennis M. Jolleymore

Dennis Mark "Jolly" Jollymore, 64, of Third Avenue, Proctor, died Saturday, Oct 29, 2005, at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born in Duluth on Oct. 25, 1941, to Mark Mathew and Dorothy Jean Jollymore.

He was a graduate of Proctor High School and UMD. "Jolly" was an art instructor for 23 years, first at Superior Central Junior High and later at Superior Senior High, retiring from there in February of 1996. He retired from the 179th Fighter Wing in 1986 after 23 years with the Air National Guard. "Jolly" was a member of Forbes United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father on Jan.29, 1976. "Jolly" is survived by his sons, Matthew (Shelly) and Michael(Dawn Jones), both of Duluth; his mother, Dorothy Jollymore of Proctor; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his sister, Carol (James) Farrell of Omaha, Neb.; his partner of 25 years, Lynne Kaspari, of Proctor; her daughter, Lisa (Andrew) Hunt, and their two children; and his nephew and nieces Thom, Kelly, and Patty Farrell.

Burial will be at Oneota Cemetery with Military Honors Accorded by the Duluth Combined Honor Guard.
