"... and the light of Brotherhood shall burn throughout Eternity."
Warren F. Orrick
Warren (Butch) Orrick was one of the most active Alphas in its history, both as an active chapter member and alumni member.
As a member of the active chapter at UMD, Butch was very active in campus life. He served as an orientation group leader, freshman camp counselor, prom committee chairman, and officer of the ski club. He was Alphas 1965-65 social chairman and was active in all fraternity events--social, service, and athletic. He took the most pride in being awarded Bird Dog of the Year for three consecutive years. Warren was the recipient of the Arrowhead Award in 1964. Butch graduated from UMD with a B.A. in History and English in 1967 and lived in the Twin Cities until his death in 1990. Butch was the president of the Alumni Association in 1980 and 1981 and a many time social chairman of the Association.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger, and his children, William Keith Orrick, Eric Ernest Orrick, and Billy Wood.
