Club History

UMD's Industrial/Organizational Psychology Club (IOPC) began in the spring semester of 2003. Founding members of the club, all students of Dr. Luong's, had come to know one another through classes or their affiliation with her. One day at coffee, a few of them decided to begin a club which they hoped would allow them opportunities to learn more about the field of I/O psychology as well as to formalize a network with peers who have similar academic and career interests.
