What can I do with this Major/Minor?

American Indian Studies in a double-major will make you more marketable, especially in our region and in social service organizations as well as some businesses.

American Indian Studies as a single major, especially if you concentrate in areas such as Indian Law or the Chippewa Language, will make you particularly attractive to Indian organizations, Tribal entities, and Federal/State agencies.

American Indian Studies as a minor will have both of the advantages noted above, but to a reduced degree. One area of special note would be a minor combined with teaching of the social sciences.
