Damn Yankees
	Pencil elevations of stage portal as a baseball program with the steel structure of a stadium jetting out from upstage. The image below is a detail of the portal as a ragtagged baseball program.
	The pages were constructed from a common house construction material, tar paper. The tar paper was stiff enough to retain its shape at the corners of the illustrated program. The light tower above the stadium was a practical unit and was electrified for our evening baseball game.
	The program idea came to me when Carol and I attended a Dukes Duluth/Superior Baseball game in west Duluth that summer. The stadium, lights,the whole environment served as a great inspiration for the show.
