Jon Drtina, who teaches and designs for the department, has worked in professional theatre from Florida to Alaska. Before moving to Columbia, he served as the executive director of the Givens Performing Arts Center on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. His interests include theatre design and technology, theatre architecture and arts administration.
