Focus of Course:
This practical course will focus on major painting mediums, styles of illustration
and techniques utilized in the visual presentation of scenic, costume and
lighting designs for the theatre. The following mediums will be explored:
graphite - pencil, charcoal, ink, watercolor pencils, watercolor painting,
ink wash, pastels, airbrush, acrylics maybe, etc. |

Method of Teaching and Evaluation:
The course will be taught through lecture / demonstration and slide presentation
with individual projects and lab work. Evaluation will be based on participation
in classroom activities and projects completed in a timely fashion. |

Inks, dyes, acrylics maybe |

+ Charcoal, pastels |
| + Spray Fix, danger |
+ Erasers, various styles |
