Education Background:
I received my Masters of Education (2005), BAS in Physical Education (K-12)(1981)
here at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. I am also an Emergency Response
Instructor(American Red Cross), and am a Certified/Registered Athletic
Trainer through the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
My academic home is the Department
of Health, Physical Education and Recreation and I am currently teaching
in the following fields of study: Health, Coaching,and Physical Education.
Duluth is my home and I am blessed with a wonderful family at the "Fleissner
Ranch" with my husband, Kelly; three children: Anna (15), Sarah (12),
and Emily (9) and the big brown dog, Kip and young pup Cedar! My "passions"
(other than family and teaching) are coaching youth basketball, camping,
gardening, crafts, hunting, fishing, xc-skiing to name just a few!
