Schedule S2008
Presentation topics
UMD Ctr for Genocide, Holocaust, and Human Rights Studies

This is an upper division course, requiring 60 credits or permission from the instructor. It is aimed at anyone who is interested in the way criminal standards have been developed for application to powerful actors in large formal organizations, including especially governments and corporations. The largest part of our readings and other course materials relate to the United States, but we will devote perhaps 30% of our attention to organizational crime in other countries and to the development of international human rights law.
