Boldt 24-Pack is compatible with ALL versions of GarageBand, including 1.0. There is a rare problem that can occur that will cause your new Boldt 24-Pack instruments to play incorrectly. We don't know exactly what is causing this because we've never reproduced it ourselves. The problem always fixes itself after a short time. If this happens to you, please try the instruments after creating a new project; this seems to help.

Boldt 24-Pack UIowa Trumpet is a package of 5 different versions of a very high-quality software instrument recorded in the University of Iowa Electronic Music Studios. This instrument has 3 velocity layers, a separate sample for each note, and is de-tuned in order to have a more natural sound, similar to a high school band. Many users will not like this instrument because it is out of tune, but other Boldt 24-Pack volumes contain trumpets that are in tune that can be used instead. It has a very unique, realistic sound.
