Job Fair
Well, went to a job fair today. It was interesting and at the very least I feel a little more confident. There were a few companies there where I could potentially find a job. I might be crazy, but I swear that one lady almost offered me a job... or an interview at the lest. She was giving me he standard speech about what they do and what kind of jobs they offer when she took a look at my resume and asked me if I would want to move to Florida, not really a standard question at a job fair. She then figured that the position would probably be filled before I graduate, but said she would be back at the fair in the spring, so the job outlook might not be so bad.

Crazy Using What You Learned In Class!
I got my application for my reasearch project done and turned in today. If you're interested you can read my proposal
here. It was really wierd to be doing something I learned how to do in class, that wasn't something dumb like, "Proposal for My Final Paper"... It was one of those things I thought, "How long is it going to be before I ever actually have to do this...", and before I knew it I was.
This weekend was Homecoming, so it was alumni weekend. I went to the football game on Saturday, which was kind of lame. No one from my section came, and the kids there now are, well... but it was fun to see all my other friends. We went out for dinner and bowling later that night. The bowlnig alley we usually do to had been compleatly redone over the summer, so it was interesting to go back. A few of us had a bon fire after, and then we were all tired and crashed in bed. The End.

Ahhhhh....
Well, I didn't do great, but I managed a B on my Differential Equations test. Hopefully I can keep it going. Surprisingly a lot of people did significantly worse than I did, so maybe there will be a curve locking my grade! It's kind of odd to think I could be done with math courses after this, but a good odd.

Life a Little Slower

I finally had a weekend where I didn't have to do homework. Unfortunately it was partly due to the fact that I had a test in DiffEQ on Friday, so hopefully that went well. Friday afternoon I went with some friends to see "School for Scoundrels". I don't especially like Billy Bob, but the movie was really funny. Afterwards we went out and got dinner.

Saturday my friend Rachel came up, so we went up the shore for the day, which I did the week before with my mom. We stopped at Betties Pies on the way back, but it was busy again so everyone else just got pie to go and we went to the Sunset in Rice Lake instead. The Sunset has good and I think Happy Hour every day. Ryan and I got something different than we ordered, so the waiter gave us a free round.

It's been nice to spend a few weekends at home, and I was defiantly nice to have a weekend where I didn't have to do a bunch of homework. Hopefully no that I've had a chance to catch my breath things will start to slow down a bit.
