HAHA!!
Well... I got the Playstaiton 3 today, and oh is it wounderful. I love every bit of it. My parents weren't exacly thrilled as you could imagne, but I assured them that it didn't really cost me anything, I've just run out of stuff to sell... Anyway, it was totally worth it!

No shading yet...
Okay, so I haven't worked out the layering stuff yet... which means I haven't got to shading yet... But it okay because our professor said at this point it okay if we take some extra time and I seem to still be ahead of at least part of the class. Hopefully I'll be able to work it out soon though. On Friday I had my second test in Differential Equations, which didn't necessarily go great, but better than I expected, so hopefully that turns out well (last time it did).
We went to see Borat this weekend. It was quite possibly the funniest movie ever. Maybe not something I'd recommend to my parents, but very funny. Work is getting "interesting". We now have 30 day to finish a project that we've barely started because we still don't have access to the information we need... We're not so happy. I am excited for Friday though, take a guess why...

3D!!

So we've gotten to 3D graphics in class. Why is this a big deal? Yes, it's easy to make a simple scence like this using a library like OpenGL... but that's not what we're doing. We're finding all the vertices for all the objects (including the sphere) and transforming the into a 2D space in such a way that it still looks 3D. The images we're rendering are made compleatly by software that we've writtlen, it's no so easy.... Next week I'll have solid objects that are shaded, it should be cool.
