Crisis Averted

My replacement bulb for my TV two days after I called and I didn't have to pay a cent. It took all of less than five minutes to change it. This one is supposed to last as long as the last one was... supposed to.

This weekend I updated my web page and put a bunch of stuff up so places I'm applying to have easy access to it all. If you have any interest you can check it out, and you don't have to read a bunch of code... If you want there's at least descriptions of what everything does. http://www.d.umn.edu/~brad0250

Someone almost got hurt...

So I've got this fancy TV right... Well it uses a fancy light bulb that Best Buy told me cost $400 to replace... I't supposed to last about 6,000 hours... and tonight it blew... which would take having it on over 10 hours a day for how long I've had it. Needless to say, I wasn't happy. I felt a little better when I found that the bulb was about half what I though, and a lot better when I checked the manufacturer's web page and found out that my TV has an extended warranty and they're supposed to send me n improved light bulb for free, so now I just need to get it from them. Hopefully that goes smoothly.

Do I Have a Job Yet?

I had another job interview this morning, I think it went pretty well and I actually kind of really want this one. It's a place in town called Irresistible Ink, they're owned by Hallmark and take letters from a company and convert them to a handwritten type. Unfortunately they just started interviewing so I might not hear back for a couple of weeks, so I'll have to keep looking.

I talked to another company on the phone last night, so we'll see if they interview me or not. Hopefully I'll have something soon. I'm definitely ready to be done with classes and have a decent job.

Happy Birthday! Oh, Wait...

I went out for my birthday on Saturday, it was really fun. Not everyone made it, but I was really happy with who showed up. We went out to eat at Old Chicago and then out to Grandma's (the bar).

I also have a phone interview with the College of St. Scholastica this morning, so hopefully that goes well.
